Dance alive national ballet
Dance Alive is a professional ballet company and nonprofit located in Gainesville, Florida. For the last year, I have worked as Dance Alive's primary print designer to create a visual identity for each of the four ballets they produce annually, as well all other print collateral for the company. Dance Alive produces powerful, exciting, and elegant work, and I always want the designs to reflect those qualities. For each poster, I am given specific photos to use, and my process is ultimately about building my design around that imagery to express the movement, boldness, and beauty of each individual show in the season.
